It’s one thing to plan your place settings, but have you thought about what will actually be on the table when guests arrive? Good news: you’ve got options! 🍽️

You can have the table fully set and styled, then serve the first course once everyone is seated. This lets guests take in the full tablescape exactly as it was designed (and gives your photographer a pretty moment to capture).

OR you can have the first course already waiting at each seat. It still looks polished, but it also helps dinner move faster by cutting out the time it takes to serve that first course.

Neither is “better.” It comes down to your timeline, your menu, and the experience you want your guests to have.
