Me and the Wifeager closed out French Quarter Fest 2026 with a bang! ⚜️ First off, the universe was on our side because we manifested the most fire parking spot right out the gate. 🔥
Here is the breakdown of the final run:

• Jackson Square Tradition: Started with . We grabbed the Crawfish Sausage :hold the tomato, add that Blue Plate and Creole mustard. It never disappoints.

• The Ethiopian Staple: Immediately jumped in line at Addis NOLA to see my boy Prince. The Collard Green Sambusas and those chicken wings hit the spot every single time.

• The New Rotation: Tried for the first time. The Pandan Waffle and Chicken was a major win. That waffle served hot was light, flavorful, and definitely going in the rotation. 🧇

• The Hype Check: Finally tried the Sweet Potato Beignet from The crust was flaky and moist perfection. My only critique? The filling could’ve been a touch sweeter to balance the dough, but it’s still worth the hype. Also, that Smoked Redfish Po-boy? Fire. No notes. 🐟

We closed the night catching the little bro rocking the stage. He definitely put on for the city! 🫡

Festival Season in New Orleans is finally here! 🎷
Festival season in NOLA is easily the best time of year, second only to Mardi Gras. Me and the Wifeager snuck away from work early to hit up our absolute favorite: French Quarter Fest.

If you’re heading down to the Quarter, here is the official play-by-play of what we ate:

⚜️• Stop 1: Had to hit up my boy DittDidIt for those Fried Crawfish Street Tacos. Don’t play yourself—ask for extra Ditto sauce. 🌮

⚜️• Stop 2: Linked with CHICKEN KITCHEN® for the Oxtail Fried Rice and the Soul Bowl with a pepper ball. That’s the wife’s favorite for a reason. 🍛

⚜️• Stop 3: Cooled off with some Italian Happy Ice. We went with the Mango/Piña Colada and the Mango/Strawberry mix. Pro tip: add the condensed milk. 🍓🍦

One month post-op knee surgery.
This past month has tested my patience, my strength, and my mindset in ways I didn’t expect. Some days feel like real progress and other days remind me healing isn’t linear.
