Me and the Wifeager closed out French Quarter Fest 2026 with a bang! ⚜️ First off, the universe was on our side because we manifested the most fire parking spot right out the gate. 🔥
Here is the breakdown of the final run:
• Jackson Square Tradition: Started with . We grabbed the Crawfish Sausage :hold the tomato, add that Blue Plate and Creole mustard. It never disappoints.
• The Ethiopian Staple: Immediately jumped in line at Addis NOLA to see my boy Prince. The Collard Green Sambusas and those chicken wings hit the spot every single time.
• The New Rotation: Tried for the first time. The Pandan Waffle and Chicken was a major win. That waffle served hot was light, flavorful, and definitely going in the rotation. 🧇
• The Hype Check: Finally tried the Sweet Potato Beignet from The crust was flaky and moist perfection. My only critique? The filling could’ve been a touch sweeter to balance the dough, but it’s still worth the hype. Also, that Smoked Redfish Po-boy? Fire. No notes. 🐟
We closed the night catching the little bro rocking the stage. He definitely put on for the city! 🫡
