Join us for our first ever Good Friday Fish Taco Fundraiser Celebrating FOUR YEARS of Community Table!

Bethlehem's Community Table ministry serves 500+ no-barrier meals each week. Come celebrate our volunteers and support this vital, love-inspired work.

$15 suggested donation per plate

Each plate comes with 2 loaded battered and fried fish tacos, served with slaw, salsas, sides of rice and pinto beans, homemade cookies (from our community fridge cooks!) and a cold drink.

Happy Monday. I am here to announce the launch of TACO SLUT. 😛🌮⚜️

The plan is to get a takeout window (location TBD but probably somewhere in the French Quarter) and have a home base for the taco biz. I'll still do the Taco Bike but probably not as often until the brick and mortar window gets into the groove.

Supporting the street tacos will be some shwag that expresses my feelings on both tacos and this absurd and tragic gun violence epidemic we are in as a nation. Available en Espanol and English.

I FINALLY figured a veggie taco option I think is good enough for my stand. It's seitan, corn, purple sweet potato, and my carne asada marinade.

SO GOOD. I had to pull myself away from it so I wouldn't devour it all. Come find me in the French Quarter and try some! I'll have cheese and flour tortillas for quesadillas too. 😸

Taco Bike is getting a major makeover!

So many people give compliments on the taco stand (I mean, it is pretty neat), but I literally threw it together in a weekend with scrap wood from the shop. It was basic AF, and I was kind of embarrassed by it.

The new one....oh just wait for the photos. It's shaping up to be a work of art AND a highly efficient mobile kitchen. On a bike. 😸

I am also gonna make some shwag for the Taco Bike - tee shirts and stickers. Maybe branded hot sauce bottles? Who knows.

Have a funny taco meme in the meantime (memetime?) while I assemble this taco contraption. And send me all the taco memes! They make insta posts easier.

Taco Bike is getting too big for it's britches, and I am in need of a commercial commissary kitchen with cold storage, and about 10 hours access per week. any suggestions?

the closer to the French Quarter, the better, since that's where I set up the most.

Taco Lovers!

Tonight the TACO BIKE will be at Poor Boys on St Bernard for GRIND. Some excellent DJs on the menu tonight, along with the best tacos in the city. Come on through! Starts at 10 and goes late.

Carnitas and Chicken tacos on the menu, as well as quesadillas as an extra treat, just cuz I feel like it.

I've got 60 pounds of carnitas on the stove. 🌮

The Taco Bike is doing pretty good! been selling out lately, so now I'm working on ways to increase what I can safely (cold and sanitary!) carry on the bike.

Tonight I will be next to Rick's Cabaret. I know, I know - Bourbon Street - but I promise to make it worth the trip if you come through!

If you get hungry tonight while you are out enjoying the explosive pageantry of this national holiday, come find me at the Moonwalk Riverfront Park, near the end of Dumaine Street. There's a big river there - ya can't miss it.

I will be heading down around 6pm. I'm almost certain to sell out (and there's gonna be a lot of people) so try to get there on the early side.
