You wait in line for a stool at the counter, where the servers in bow ties treat you like an old friend. You order the "Chef's Special" omelette, filled with turkey, bacon, and cheese, or a pecan waffle. The "Chocolate Freeze" is a slushy chocolate drink that is a local favorite. The cooks grill the food right in front of you, often chatting and joking with the crowd. It is loud, fun, and classic. You leave with a smile, fueled by great service and heavy food.
