ROGICHA is grown by small farmers situated at ultra high altitudes in the southern Guji Zone and processed at the Buku Sayisa station. This coffee is hand-sorted and dried for 20 days on raised beds. This slow drying process allows for more even airflow, lending to more even drying, and ultimately a cleaner and more consistent flavor in the cup.

In keeping with natural processed Ethiopians from our past, this thing is a fruit bomb. Trust us, it’s a good one.

This coffee is a real knock-your-socks-off type of offering 💥☕It is bursting with tropical fruit flavors and hibiscus florals, with just the kind of herbaceous foundation that we look for in washed East African coffees.

NDUMBERI is produced by smallholder farmers in Kiambu County, which is a lush mountainous region that sits adjacent to the capital city of Nairobi. The farmers here work according to a cooperative system of production, in which members vote on representation, marketing and milling contracts, as well as profit allocation.

"Finca Humana" meaning that human wellbeing should be the main objective of any enterprise" is the core operating principle of APROCOMSA, a cooperative in Marcala.

This focus on the human element has led to all kinds of great results. Regular seminars about new developments in organic farming practices are made available to member farmers, and proceeds from the sale of coffees are used to fund a cutting edge international school, dedicated to educating future leaders of the community.

This is our third time featuring a coffee from the APROCOMSA cooperative, and they just seem to be getting better every year. Available at your fave Coffee House, Roastery, and online!
