🌮❤️ **A NEW CHAPTER FOR TAQUERÍA 2 BROTHERS** ❤️🌮
After many years of hard work, beautiful memories, and the incredible support of our community, we have decided that it is time to pass **Taquería 2 Brothers** on to its next owner.
When we bought the restaurant two days Hurricane Ida, we knew we were beginning a challenging journey. Our street was closed for nearly two years, but our community never stopped supporting us.
Our neighbors, loyal customers, local families, and fellow restaurant owners stood beside us through it all. We are especially grateful to the **Navy, Coast Guard, Marines, Army, police officers, firefighters, first responders, and all of the local businesses and restaurants** who have supported us throughout the years.
Then, on **Memorial Day night, our restaurant caught fire.**
Once again, our employees came together and worked incredibly hard to renovate and rebuild so we could open our doors again. And once again, our customers, neighbors, and fellow businesses surrounded us with love and support.
That is the story of Taquería 2 Brothers: **when things got difficult, our community showed up.** ❤️

So many customers became friends. So many friends became family. Every meal, every recommendation, every review, and every visit helped make Taquería 2 Brothers what it is today.
**So why are we selling?**
The answer is personal.
As a mother of two boys, I want to dedicate more time to them and be more present in their lives. I have also been running my handmade ocarina business at the French Market for 15 years. Balancing both businesses and motherhood has made me realize that it is time for a new chapter.
I am incredibly proud of what we built at Taquería 2 Brothers, and I hope the next owner will love this place and this community as much as we have.
This is not goodbye.
It is simply **the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.** ❤️
