It’s a Geaux … 4/5/23 … Wednesday at 6:45 —- chickens in the game shortly thereafter - when squares are claimed!!! Raising money for Clouet Gardens … Bywaters gem of a park at Clouet and Burgundy … refreshments will be available … come hang out for neighborhood fun! Oh … and Luna Libre’s flaming Margaritas too!!

As a child I was fascinated with the fried apple pie . The folded green paper sleeve pulled from the Warmer with the ominous sign… “caution filling is hot” … I always burned myself ‘cause I couldn’t wait. Fast forward - over the summer I worked with a tv food expert (name reveal later) and we created these imitation fried pies the super simple way … canned organic apple pie filling - and (not fried) finished with Demerara sugar … these little darlings were so dang simple … and so GOoD!!! 3 ingredients !!!
