Because most commercially-produced flour made in the US is loaded with additives and ingredients considered harmful by many in the food-science community. The flour we import at New Milford Pizza Station is not chlorinated or bromated. It's a fine-milled minimally processed flour that creates for our guests a flavorful, crisp crust. And like our choice of flour, all of the ingredients that go into our pizza are carefully sourced with health and quality as the primary criteria. Mozzarella by Grande, tomato products by Stanislaus, sausage by Lamberti of New Haven, and pepperoni by Hormel, among others.
