Beginning Tuesday, July 5th, A Taste of Rio will be operating under new ownership.
The decision for our family to sell the restaurant was a very hard one. We have enjoyed every minute of meeting individuals from our community, many of whom have supported us & always rooted for us. We hope you all know that we are beyond thankful for all the love, support, prayers, & kindness you all have provided us.
Our family has made the decision to sell both of our family owned & operated businesses in New Milford in order for my parents to begin enjoying their retirement. We are hoping these years ahead are filled with many slower-paced days, relaxation, trips, grandchildren love, & family time.
The new owners will continue what we have started, with just a few changes to the menu. The new owners were also born & raised in Brazil and have plenty of experience with the delicious Brazilian cuisine. We wish them continued success and hope that all of you, especially our regulars, continue to enjoy yummy fresh Brazilian food right here in New Milford.
We have truly enjoyed every minute of what we have started & will forever be thankful for all of you guys that have continued to make A Taste of Rio a success!
