To all our great customers: We received a call yesterday that two “work trucks” had been at the well, getting a huge amount of water. Hundreds of gallons, according to the caller. This temporarily disabled the pump. Even worse, he said, the people getting the water had attached a hose to the faucet to do it.
That is against state health regulations.
If you happen to witness anyone attaching a hose to our faucet to get water, please call us *while you’re there.* We will either deal with people directly, or call police to check out the situation. Don’t do anything to confront people there. Just give a call at 865-207-2411.
While we don’t currently have a limit on water, we ask that anyone getting a hundred gallons or more give us a heads up, so we can advise them on the best way to go about it.
And yes, we are considering installing cameras very soon.
