Hey everyone, a few quick notes!
We’ve got a free comedy show tonight, 10/12, starting at 6PM. We hope you’ll join us for a few laughs.
For tomorrow, 10/13, we’re serving up classic tavern chili with shredded cheddar and diced onions.
We’re also doing a b**r braised bratwurst sandwich served on a deli roll with caramelized onions and/or sauerkraut, & melted cheddar cheese for $8.

(Opened Dutch Tavern in 1933)
During Prohibition, the bar was used as storage space for tires and scrap rubber by the property’s owners, the W.S. Alling Rubber Co. In 1933, Mauritz M. “Dutch” Nauta, the former steward at the Order of Hermann Sons, more commonly known as the German Club, bought the building, from the rubber company, built the 25-foot-long bar and advertised that he had “spared no expense in outfitting the establishment to meet the demands of a high class trade.” Edward Rothen and Louis “Wicky” Grabner Jr., bartenders at the German Club, bought the business from Dutch in 1951.

Tonight is vinyl night at the Tavern! Brian will be spinning hand picked records, and others are encouraged to bring albums from personal collections to share.
We have a free comedy show coming up next Monday evening, 10/12. Details to follow!
