It is incredibly humbling to have the outpouring of love we are receiving. My heart breaks thinking about some of you I will no longer see on a daily basis. Those we work with and those we serve and harass. You are sending us off in a way that many don't often get to experience. Such wonderful people, you all have had a big impact on our lives. After 52 years of John having MacKennas restaurant in New London, we will be shutting our doors for good on October 16. What a pleasure it has been to serve such an amazing community. Please come in during our last two months to use any unused gift certificates and tell us any fun stories you may remember. It will be an end to an era and we will miss so many of you.
