🏁 THE WOOLLYBEAR WORLD’S GREATEST KIDS RACE IS BACK!

A Woollybear tradition since 1984, the World’s Greatest Kids Race returns Sunday, October 4th as part of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce Woollybear Festival!

From crawlers through age 12, it’s FREE for kids to race at Vermilion High School Stadium — and there’s no preregistration. Just show up that morning ready to run!

Registration begins at 8 AM
Race begins at 9 AM
Vermilion High School Stadium 1250 Sanford St.
The first 150 kids to register receive a FREE Woollybear T-shirt!

The Chamber is also looking for sponsors to help keep this longtime Woollybear tradition FREE for our kids. Sponsorships are available at $500, $250 and $100, with $500 Gold Sponsors receiving their logo on the kids’ race T-shirt.

West Clarksfield Smokers is heading to the Vermilion WoollyBear Festival on Sunday, October 4th 9am-5pm!!! We will be there serving up the Richie Bobby Loaded Nachos, SMOGAN, Pulled Pork and Signature Mac and Cheese, our hometown favorite!! Come check us out!!!
