The Trimbach Cellar Drop has arrived! 🍾🌞
This isn’t just a wine flight, it’s a chance to taste time, vintage and terroir side by side.
Maison Trimbach has been making wine in Ribeauvillé, Alsace since 1626, and today the family is in its 13th generation. For this limited cellar release, we’re pouring three library wines from one of Alsace’s most historic houses.
First, Trimbach Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle 2017 — a rare bottling made only in exceptional years, from a tiny frost-affected vintage.
Then, the heart of the experience: two consecutive vintages of Cuvée Frédéric Emile Riesling, poured side by side.
2015 - warm, powerful and concentrated, with smoke, stone and lemon oil.
2014 - leaner, brighter and more electric, with the classic acid-driven character of a cooler vintage.
Same family. Same hillside. Same wine. One year apart.
Both Rieslings come from old vines on a steep plot straddling the Grand Crus Geisberg and Osterberg 1 making this a rare chance to taste exactly what one growing season can do!
