~THE STAVEN~ IS CLASSY, OKAY?

this was my family's go to pizza growing up 🍕 (hiiii it's alexa, the voice behind our social media 👋)

my family is from east haven, but i remember moving to florida as a kid and my parents complaining about the pizza down there ~fair~ every time we came back to new haven for the winter or summer, we would always go to Modern Apizza and there would always be a bacon and onion pie on our table. this one's a tip of the hat to them 🧡

a very traditional pizza and one that means a lot to us!

we char corn in our wood fired oven & mix it up with some red peppers. then we sprinkle on some cotija cheese & chili powder, drizzle on our chipotle mayo, & finish it off with cilantro & lime wedges [white pie]

andrew wasn't sure he was going to make it through the morning we filmed this.
our grease container was leaking 200 gallons of oil on a sunday morning when everything was closed, BUT HEY, THAT'S SHOWBIZ, BABY!
