We’re $30,000 away from our $80,000 goal to build Havenly’s childcare incubator and we need your help to get there.

Havenly is already one of just 20 childcare incubators approved statewide, and our participants are currently training in business, education planning, and licensing. Now, we need to make their next step possible.

This new space will create opportunities for refugee and immigrant women to build careers as childcare educators while helping address the growing need for quality, trusted childcare in Connecticut.

Ten women. Ten weeks. So much to celebrate. 🧡

Last week, we celebrated the graduates of All Our Kin’s Business Series 🎉 Over the past 10 weeks, these family childcare providers have dedicated themselves to learning new skills so they can run sustainable childcare businesses.

At Havenly, we believe that when women have the tools and opportunities to succeed, entire communities benefit. Through our childcare incubator, we’re helping expand access to quality early childhood education in Connecticut while creating stronger, more stable futures for families.

As we enter an exciting new chapter focused on expanding opportunities for refugee and immigrant women, we're seeking Board Members who believe in building stronger, more welcoming communities.

Serving on Havenly's Board is an opportunity to help guide our strategic vision, strengthen our impact, and invest in the leadership of refugee and immigrant women across Connecticut. The Board meets every six weeks. Applications are due by August 31, 2026.

We are honored to partner with All Our Kin and The Connecticut Project to start a 10-week business series to support a remarkable cohort of refugee women who are taking the first steps toward opening New Haven’e first childcare incubator 🏠

These women bring with them a wealth of knowledge, strength, and lived experience. With interpretation in Arabic, French, Farsi, and Amharic, this series creates a space where women can learn, grow, and prepare to become leaders in early childhood education 📚👩‍🏫

This is what community-powered change looks like: investing in refugee and immigrant women, expanding access to quality childcare, and building economic opportunities that strengthen entire communities.
