Our Story
My Father Anthony, an immigrant from Sepino, Italy, started New Hartford Pizza in 1974. His signature pizza was the Napolitano. In the mid-90's the name changed to Tonio's New Hartford Pizza and the same specialty pizza was re-named Plum Tomato & Basil Pizza. As Tony's son, growing up working in the pizza shop, friends and family nicknamed me "Pizza Pete". Fast forward 20 years, and Pizza Pete's was born when my father passed the family business to me. Our goal is to bring the same consistency, and great-tasting Italian food back to the New Hartford area. The same crispy Italian Pan Pizza that patrons came to expect when I used to work along side my father. Now enough about the past. MANGIA! MANGIA!
