🏠 Could your family open its home and heart to Jakub?
Rotary Club of Sauquoit is looking for two local host families for Jakub, an international high school student from the Czech Republic attending Sauquoit Valley High School through Rotary Youth Exchange.
📅 Second host family: Early December–mid-March
📅 Third host family: Mid-March–June
You do not need to be a Rotary member. Families of all types are encouraged to consider this opportunity—families with children, empty nesters, single adults, and retirees. All you need is a spare bed and a willingness to welcome Jakub into your family life.
Host families provide room, board, transportation to everyday activities, and—most importantly—a place where an exchange student can feel like part of the family, not a guest.
Rotary Youth Exchange has been creating life-changing cultural experiences for generations. Perhaps you remember an exchange student from your own SVHS years. This year, it’s Jakub. Next year, it could be another student from another country.
