All 20 of our Tuesday Pizza Hunt pizzas are officially GONE! 🤯
Thank you to everyone who called, stopped by, and played along. We honestly didn’t expect them to disappear that fast!
Missed out? Don’t worry—we’re fully stocked, prepped, and ready to roll tomorrow with our full menu. We’ll be back to our regular hours, and we’ll have plenty of pizza waiting for you.

Plot twist... we’re usually closed on Tuesdays, but Pete’s been in the kitchen getting ready for tomorrow and accidentally created tonight’s mission.
🍕 20 Large Cheese Pizzas
💵 Just $15 each
🕒 Today only from 3:00–6:00 PM (or until they’re gone!)
A few ground rules:

We’re proud to be joining some of the best pizza spots along Route 44 for an evening that’s about so much more than pizza. ❤️
On Tuesday, August 25, we’ll be serving up slices at Pizza Wars on Route 44 at Brewery Legitimus to help raise money for the incredible Sunshine Kids, an organization dedicated to bringing fun, hope, and unforgettable experiences to children battling cancer.
For $25, you’ll get:
🍕 5 pizza tasting tickets
🥤 A drink
🎟️ Door prize entry
🎶 Live music from Firetown Road
🎁 Access to raffle baskets and the silent auction

Pizza Pete’s is more than just a place to grab dinner—it’s a place to hang out, catch up with friends, bring the family, and spend a little extra time together.

Friday nights have a funny way of making everyone look calm in the photos. 😂🍕
What you don’t see are the hundreds of pizzas, the nonstop phone calls, the ticket printer that never seems to take a break, and Pete making his 47th trip across the kitchen because he swears he’s “just checking on something.”
Behind every busy Friday is a crew that shows up, works hard, has each other’s backs, and somehow still finds time to laugh along the way. That’s what makes this place special.

🍕📚 50 pizzas and one very important lesson… never underestimate teachers.

Today we fired up 50 pizzas for Barkhamsted Elementary School and were happy to give the school 20% off—because we have a lot of appreciation for the people who spend all day teaching, encouraging, and somehow keeping up with a room full of kids.

The boxes kept stacking up, and somewhere around pizza #42 Pete started wondering if he should’ve paid more attention in math class..

A Big thank you to the incredible teachers and staff at Barkhamsted Elementary. We’re grateful for everything you do for our community, and we hope lunch was the easiest part of your day!! ❤️🍕

Big thanks to Brian Wadman () for taking this incredible aerial shot. Brian owns Elite Roofing, and apparently when he’s not keeping Connecticut dry, he’s making local pizza joints look like resorts. 😂
Meanwhile, Pete can be seen out front in his natural habitat — seated, supervising, and conducting important quality-control operations from the Adirondack chairs.
