Guess what?! We're officially open for LUNCH Fridays & Saturdays from 12-2pm! Order at our bar and then find a spot in one of our dining rooms or our front porch to enjoy flavors from our dinner menu 🦪 plus sandwiches on our house milk bread (stacked here for dramatic effect 😉).

No reservations necessary, but please email or call ahead if you are a large group.

Adelsheim, established in 1971 by David Adelsheim, is located in the Chehalem Mountain AVA in Oregon and is one of the pioneers of Willamette Valley winemaking, producing wines that are clean and classically styled. Midwest native, sommelier, and natural storyteller, Mike Willison of Adelsheim, will share deep information about the winery and the wines as you explore them through our menu.

We had a few last minute cancellations for tonight, 6/20, which means we've got extra spots for you to join us! When you do, you can try to snag one of our limited quantity Bacon Crusted Walleye dishes (or as our servers call it: the Bacon Half Wrap Supreme 🔥). We'll also feature a nduja stuffed pork loin and a new Flyte Family Farms tomato pomodoro with our pillowy parisienne gnocchi. Plenty of tasty beverages to boot!

We are ecstatic to be listed among Joshua David Stein’s TOP 5(!) favorite dining destinations in Town & Country Magazine! As we roll into the busy season in New Glarus, we can't wait to welcome folks into our home for the first, fifth, or fifteenth (🙌 to you out there!) time. Our dream has always been for Canter Inn to feel knitted into this community while simultaneously offering an experience worthy of the destination. Thanks to those out there who are helping us prove that it's possible!
