John’s Diner just won Harrisburg Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award 2025… which is amazing…
except… we’ve been closed since November 2024.

Apparently, the only thing stronger than our coffee was your loyalty. ☕💪
Either that, or you all just really miss our pancakes and plotted this as a not-so-subtle hint. 🥞

In all seriousness, THANK YOU for remembering us, voting for us, and proving that even a “retired” diner can still win in the big leagues. You’ve officially made us the undefeated champions… mostly because we can’t lose if we’re not open. 😉

After 15 years proudly serving the Central Pennsylvania Community we will be sadly closing our doors on November 6th. We would like to thank all of our amazing customers and staff who over all these years have all become family. Our lease was coming to an end at the close of December and our landlord found a new tenant to start right away. Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support for helping make our dream a reality these past 15 years. We will miss everyone!
