Here’s what they had to say about the first stop on their honeymoon in Sorrento:

“Sorrento was fabulous! We stayed at the Grand Hotel Europa Palace and were absolutely obsessed with both the hotel and the staff. The hotel sits right on the water, so the views were unreal. Our room was built into the cliffside, and the host even told us it was her favorite room in the hotel!”

They loved starting each morning with the complimentary breakfast before relaxing by the gorgeous pool overlooking the sea. The hotel also has a private beach where you can order food and drinks, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring.

🍨 Favorite gelato: I Giardini Di Cataldo (just across the street!)
🍕 Favorite dinner: Ristorante Tasso for incredible pizza and wine.
🍝 Another must-visit: La Maison Douce for delicious pasta and a beautiful outdoor dining experience.

The location couldn’t have been more convenient, just a short walk to the ferry, making it easy to explore the Amalfi Coast.

One thing to know: because the hotel is built into the cliffs, there are quite a few stairs between the lobby and the pool/beach. But according to Jess & Luke the views make every step worth it!

They also spotted the neighboring Grand Hotel Royal, which they said looked absolutely stunning and is on their list for a future visit.

Jolene and Nelson just wrapped up an incredible journey through Athens, Milos, Santorini, and Crete, experiencing the very best of Greece. From learning to prepare authentic Greek cuisine in a hands-on cooking class, to exploring the crystal-clear waters on a private boat, to horseback riding through breathtaking landscapes, every stop was filled with adventure, culture, and unforgettable moments.
