This historic building, circa 1682, has been taking on a new look, and is beginning a new career as a cozy corner for coffee, great food, craft beer or wine, LIVE Entertainment, interesting conversation and buying one-of-a-kind items from skilled local artisans. Penn's Place consists of The Artisans Gifts & Gallery, Traders Cove Coffee Shop and our Live Entert

ainment/Private Event space, The Muse. Reputed to be the house where William Penn spent his first night in the new world after he landed in New Castle, the house was known as the William Penn Guest House for many years.

Dear Friends, Neighbors and cherished Patrons...after 8 wonderful years it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we officially close Traders Cove and Penn's Place. At this point in our lives our energy and attention is required elsewhere.

We are so thankful for the friendships, memories and blessings that are too many to count and awesome staff and artisans who made our place a special destination. It is all the people...you...who made the place.

We hope you will continue to visit Historic New Castle and discover all it has to offer in every season. Blessings to you and yours for a New Year full of joy, peace and all the best that life has to offer.
