To the people of New Castle and beyond that we’ve had the pleasure of serving,

Our parents, Nahla and Haisam Mansour, started this restaurant in 1994 after migrating to the US. They learned the language and worked tirelessly everyday and built a business that’s stood for 30 years. The true American Dream fulfilled. Our mother put in over 80 hours every week to bolster her business alongside her Aunt Ilham and her mother Afifeh. We watched as our mother devoted all of her love into the food she made and customers she met.

We only wish our parents could have seen what they built. Our father passed on December 10, 2008. Through this adversity, our mother became a superwoman to us as she raised us and continued to spearhead her business. She came to work everyday, even after countless brutal cancer treatments. And after a long battle with breast cancer, our mother passed on June 8, 2017. Having seen her devotion, we hoped to continue to serve her recipes at the same caliber and standard she held herself to. We were blessed to have countless family and friends around us for support, and give glory to God for every blessing.

While we were heart broken in making this decision, we’ve learned how short and precious life truly is and are excited for where the future takes us. We are eternally grateful for everything our family provided for us and the sacrifices they made. They’ve laid the foundation for something we hope to build on in our future endeavors.

We have been honored to serve this community and thank all of our customers who we’ve crossed paths and shared stories with over the years. We are also thankful to all those who’ve worked with us and became apart of the family. We hope to see you through the end of the week.

The Announcement No One Wanted:

Our final day of business will be this Saturday, March 23rd.

This is a bittersweet day for us as we are sad at the reality of the closure but we are also excited for what’s to come.

For those who have asked about buying frozen kibbee’s and other items, please call the restaurant by Saturday so we can guarantee your order as some foods may run out. We are still accepting all gift cards through closing day.

We have so much more to say but we’ll keep it short for now.

We hope to see many of you this week for what may be the last time. Thank you for 30 years.

Flashback to the 90’s! A look back at the restaurant when we first got started about 30 years ago before moving locations in 2008. Those menu prices were a lot different back then! We are so thankful to those who’ve brought us this far, especially our beloved mother Nahla, and everyone we’ve met along the way.
We are still open with our regular hours and hope to have an update on our closing date soon.

Just a reminder of some of our Vegetarian/Vegan options we offer as the Lenten season begins! Our White Garlic is 100% Vegan and dairy-free for those who have asked. We still do not have an update on a closing date but expect to be open at least a few more weeks. Thank you for your continuous support!

We are still open!! We’ve had many call and ask about an update. We are still fully operating and plan to be open at least a couple more weeks, barring any more delays. We will post a final day when we have a solid answer. Come in and get your favorites❤️

An Appreciation Post for a Special Person:

Tiffany has been with us since the beginning. She started working for us as a server in 1995 and has stayed with us ever since. She never missed a scheduled day and was always ready to work and help in anyway she could. There’s very few people that could handle a full dining room on their own the way she could. If you’ve ever ordered dinner with us then you’ve most likely met her before. Or heard one of her many stories she had to tell her customers. She’s one of a kind and we are so thankful for all 29 years we’ve had the pleasure of working with her❣️❣️

Update: We’ve been given word from our agents we’ll have at least a couple weeks or so until the closing. So don’t worry if you can’t make it in this week! We will still be open as usual until we post a solid closing date.❣️
Hello everyone! We wanted to give a small update on our selling situation.

We are still in the midst of the sale of our property, and are awaiting final word from our real estate agents. We still do not have a solid closing date.
And we don’t want to raise any alarms in case something falls through or changes.

We’d like to reiterate that if any of you still have gift cards to please use them soon so they don’t go to waste.

We wish we could give more solid answers but were at the mercy real estate process. We also know many of you wanted to be alerted when a sale was imminent in order for you to come in at least one final time.

We will update if the sale gets pushed again or if we’ll remain open longer than expected.

And as always, thank you so much for all of the support over the years.

Get your holiday orders in! For all your favorites, please give us at least one day’s notice so we can guarantee your order. Some items may sell out!

Many of you have noticed recently that our property is for sale. While we have not closed, we do have a buyer interested in the property. We are still unsure if the deal will close, but we will keep you updated if we are notified of a potential closing date.

We do urge those of you that have gift cards to use them soon in the event the sale goes through.

We will be open December 23rd with our regular hours. We will be closed December 24th-26th and reopen December 27th.
