We have been a trusted planner of catered events for over 20 years We are not a catering company located in the basement of some building that you can not find on a map. We have a state of the art kitchen which is visible to the public. Our kitchen staffers are all full time professionals dedicated to their craft in the culinary industry. They are headed by a chef that has many years of experience working in our family’s restaurants. We have at least two qualified food handlers on the premises everyday, having received their qualifications from the State of Connecticut. Since Pinocchio Pizza is a restaurant that is open seven days per week for lunch and dinner, our establishment falls under the direct scrutiny of the Local and State Health Departments. Most catering companies are not required under law to be under such scrutiny. Because we take such tremendous pride in the cleanliness of our kitchen, and the personal cleanliness of all staff members, we always score extremely high on all of our health inspections. As a customer you should feel confident knowing where, whom, and what type of facility your food is being prepared in. Not by a caterer that works out of their home, scrambling to finish an order in a cramped kitchen, not being able to hold foods at safe temperatures etc. And don’t ever let yourself get taken advantage of the so called fine foods/ high end catering establishments that must gouge their customers with ridiculously high prices for horribly small portions because they do not work the longer hours that a restaurant keeps, and must make their overhead in much shorter hours of operations. They will tell you that you are paying for their high quality ingredients, and their many years of experience. Well I sincerely challenge anyone in proving they take all of the steps that I take in buying fresh foods from the source with out middlemen, visiting the factories where our superior domestic items are being produced, and traveling to Europe every year to personally see where all of these raw materials are grown, produced and distributed.
