As I lock the doors of Original Mediterranean Grill (and formerly Ken’s Market) for the last time after 19 incredible years, a flood of emotions overwhelms me. The clinking of cutlery, the hum of satisfied conversations, and the aromatic symphony of my kitchen linger in the air, each sound and scent echoing the countless memories created within these walls.
Retiring from this journey feels like bidding farewell to a dear friend. The laughter of loyal patrons, the camaraderie among my dedicated staff – they have all become a special part of this place, and now it's time to pass the torch.
As I turn the key in the lock, I reflect on the joy and challenges, the highs and lows that defined my time as the owner. I leave with gratitude for the privilege of serving the community for nearly two decades.
