What a day to be a Roadrunner fan! 🧡💙

Okie suited up early and joined the crowd outside the Alamodome for the big pregame national Sportcenter On Campus broadcast. There were signs, cheerleaders, and a whole lot of Birds Up energy. 📺🙌

Then inside the stadium, one lucky fan stepped up for the Las Palapas Piñata Break, swung for the fences 🪅, and went home with a prize basket full of goodies. Okie is still talking about that swing.

We’ve been part of San Antonio’s game days for 45 years, and moments like these never get old. Thank you to everyone who came out and cheered with us!

Big night for San Antonio! 🏈

On Thursday, Oct. 8, the Roadrunners host South Florida at the Alamodome in front of a national TV audience. Before kickoff, SportsCenter on Campus goes live from Rowdy Town Live at the H-E-B Plaza from 4-4:30 p.m. Our very own Okie will be right there with Rowdy, taking a swing at a South Florida-themed piñata we made just for the occasion. 🪅🌯

Head to Rowdy Town Live when it opens at 3 p.m., or catch it all from the couch. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. on ESPN . Either way, the Lights Out game deserves a proper spread: dine-in, drive-thru, to-go, or delivery, we've got your game day covered. 🌮

What a morning at the Race for the Rescues 5K! 🐾🏃‍♀️

Hundreds of runners, walkers, and their four-legged best friends showed up to support SNIPSA and the incredible work they do for rescue animals in our city. We were honored to be part of it and kept everyone fueled with fresh breakfast tacos at the finish line 🌮

And our very own Okie lined up at the start with some of the most famous mascots in San Antonio. Burritos, puffy tacos, and grocery bags all in one place? Only in SA 😂

Thank you to SNIPSA, every volunteer, and every runner (and pup!) who came out. This is the kind of community we've been proud to be part of since 1981 ❤️
