🚨 Important Menu Update 🚨
To prioritize the health and safety of our amazing customers, we are making a temporary change to our menu. Effective immediately, we will not be serving strawberries, tomatoes, or any other uncooked produce.
We are doing this out of an abundance of caution due to the recent multistate outbreak of Cyclospora, a parasitic bug that has been contaminating raw produce and causing illness across several states. Your safety is always our number one priority, and we want to ensure everything we serve is 100% safe.
Our kitchen is still firing and cooking up all your hot favorites, as the cooking process eliminates this bug! We will keep you updated and bring our fresh produce back as soon as we safely can.
Thank you for understanding and for your continued support!

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 America 250 🇺🇸 🎆

To show our appreciation for our amazing front-of-house team, we’ve given them the holiday weekend off to spend some well-deserved time with family and friends.

Because of this, our dining room will be closed today.

However, the kitchen is still firing! We will be open today from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, accepting call-in and DoorDash orders only.

So, who will win the Nathan's hot dog eating contest and take home the mustard belt today? Does Joey Chestnut break his record? Let's hear your thoughts in the comments! 👇

Thank you for understanding, and have a safe and happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸🍔🌭🏖️

Good morning everyone! ☀️

We have a quick update for today: Duke Energy let us know our power is estimated to be restored around 10:00 AM. Because we still need time to prep the kitchen and we close at 12:00 PM, it just doesn't make sense for us to open for such a short window today. For that reason, we will remain closed for the entire day. We apologize for any inconvenience and are definitely going to miss serving you!

However, while we have a moment of downtime, we wanted to share a quick restaurant update with you all. To follow up on our apology from a couple of weeks ago, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve your experience. We’ve officially streamlined our menu and adjusted our dining room seating so we can serve you much more efficiently.

We've already started running this new setup, and we’re thrilled to report that during our recent shifts, plates were hitting tables within 30 to 60 seconds of coming right out of the kitchen!

Thank you all so much for your continued support, patience, and understanding while we made these adjustments. Stay safe out there today, and we’ll see you tomorrow at 8:00 AM! 🍳🥓

Following up on our apology a couple of weeks ago, we are making our next big move to ensure our service standards stay exactly where they need to be.

If you visit us this weekend, you are going to notice some extra breathing room in the dining room. We have officially reduced our seating capacity and removed several tables from the floor.

Why? Because your experience is our top priority.

Navigating the current staffing environment is tough, and rather than packing the house and risking slow ticket times or overwhelmed servers, we are choosing to control the floor. Operating with fewer tables means our dedicated kitchen and waitstaff can give every single guest the attention, speed, and hot food they deserve.

If you see an empty space where your favorite table used to be, just know it is there strictly by design so we can serve you better. We would rather serve a smaller number of guests perfectly than make anyone wait too long for their food.

Thank you for your continued support as we make these positive changes. We can't wait to see you this weekend!

An Apology, Exciting Changes, & A Quick Favor to Ask! 🌊

First, we want to address this past weekend. If you visited us and experienced a longer wait than usual, we sincerely apologize. We were operating understaffed, and while our team hustled incredibly hard, we know some of you didn't get the fast, seamless service you expect from us. We hear your frustration, and we are actively fixing it.

At the same time, we’ve been tracking the crazy national spikes in diesel costs and transportation prices, which in turn are directly driving up the cost of our food deliveries. Because of this, we’ve made a big decision: The Seaglass Cafe is officially going all-in on our core lineup!

To protect our quality, speed up our kitchen, and keep our prices fair, we are streamlining our menu. We are officially retiring all lunch items—including our recent panini additions which just didn't quite catch on with the morning and early lunch crowd because we close at 12:00—as well as waffles and any specialty Benedicts besides our Traditional Benedict. Moving forward, we are focusing all our energy on perfecting exactly what our customers love most based off our numbers: our classic breakfasts, loaded hash browns, and cheese grits! This means doubling down on absolute best-sellers like the fan-favorite Big Breakfast, our Traditional Eggs Benedict, the Pancake and French Toast Combos, and our Breakfast Tacos.

Alongside the menu, we have also been looking hard at our operating hours. After running a two-month trial of opening on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the numbers showed us that the customer volume just isn't there on those mid-week days to sustain operations. To ensure we keep the cafe healthy and protect our incredible core staff from burning out, we are officially shifting our schedule. Moving forward, we will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. (We are still keeping a close eye on our Friday volume as we adjust, so we will keep you posted if anything changes!)

Because we are still operating with a tighter crew right now, you might still experience slightly longer wait times during our busy weekend rushes. Please bring your appetite and a little extra patience for our hardworking team. Thank you for sticking with us through these growing pains—we appreciate your loyalty more than words can say!
