I am so grateful!

It is with deep humility, prayer, and heartfelt appreciation that I extend my sincere thanks to the people of New Bern, my family, our employees, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Tourism Office. Thank you for your unwavering support, for the lessons learned, and for welcoming me back home to build Broad Street Takeout in the heart of Five Points.
Nearly five years ago, I set out to provide affordable, accessible food in a neighborhood that needed it most, and I am proud to say we accomplished that mission together.

As I prepare to step away from the brick-and-mortar side of the business, please know this decision comes with thoughtful reflection and gratitude for the journey. This community deserves continued growth, and I believe this location is ready for a dedicated owner-operator or franchise to take the lead. We will officially close our doors at the end of the year, and while I never planned to become a restaurant owner, I am grateful I took the leap.

I want to express special thanks to Robert Gaylor, Ron Coleman and Khayri Smith for believing in my vision in 2021 and helping build the foundation of this business. Thank you to my family and friends, your belief in me has meant everything.

As the property owner, I am excited to offer this fully equipped, turnkey kitchen to another local business or incoming franchise. In the coming weeks, I will be working with economic development partners to help usher in the next chapter for this space.
