Scuttlebutts Bar Scuttlebutts Bar is your neighborhood gathering place, located inside Hoeppner-Horn Bros. VFW Post 5716 in New Berlin. Open to the public. Everyone is welcome.

Join us for weekly entertainment, community events, cold beverages, and great company. Scuttlebutts - The term scuttlebutt came from the nautical term for the water fountain (cask) on board ships. At times, it became the focus of the congregation and a casual discussion area. Since sailors exchanged gossip when they gathered at the scuttlebutt for a drink of water, the word scuttlebutt became slang for gossip or rumors. So come and gather around our watering hole (bar) and talk, tell tales of adventure, stories of life, and share some wonderful laughs with friends. Bring your own friends or come and meet new ones. WELL PLAYED, MOTHER NATURE...

Unfortunately, the rain means Throttle Thursday is canceled tonight. But we're not letting her take the whole night from us!

Line Dancing with Kat's Country Kickers is STILL ON! And since we suddenly have an opening in tonight's entertainment department... Mark Makowski is taking one for the team. Okay. He was willingly voluntold by his favorite bartender, Dawn Makowski. 😂 DJ Mark, AKA, Sticks, is back (After surviving his guest appearance at Monday Music Bingo)...and there may even be a karaoke song or two involved. 🎤

So forget the bike, grab the car and come hang out with us.

WE’RE CHANGING THINGS UP AT MONDAY MUSIC BINGO!

Starting in October, you’ll notice something new at Scuttlebutts...
Each month, we’ll be partnering with a local business as our Monday Music Bingo Community Sponsor!

Our sponsors will be adding some extra prizes to the mix throughout the month, and in return, we get to introduce you to some of the businesses and people who are part of our local community.

And we’re kicking things off with a great one!

🎉 SHHHH...WE'RE PLANNING A SURPRISE!

One of our own is turning 80 — and we'd love your help celebrating him! Aaron, a member of Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716, a veteran who served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, is hitting the big 8-0. 🇺🇸🎂

So we're throwing him a SURPRISE birthday celebration at Scuttlebutts Bar (inside Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716) and this isn't just for family, friends or VFW members. We're inviting the community to come celebrate with us! You may not know Aaron yet, and that's okay. Stop in, shake his hand, wish him a Happy 80th and help us fill the room for one of our veterans.
