Today is another one of those days we are reminded just how grateful we are for this wonderful community. ❤️

Betsey’s mom, Linda Lou, was involved in a minor accident today. Thankfully she is fine — a little sore, but home tonight in the apartment she loves. 🙏

We can’t thank everyone enough — the fire department, ambulance crew, police, the other driver, and the wonderful staff at UHS. So much kindness from beginning to end.

And Linda Lou was Linda Lou through it all — making her normal jokes, making new friends, and even recruiting pitch players. 😂❤️

We’re also posting here because we received so many calls and texts checking on her. We can’t possibly thank everyone individually, but please know how much it meant to us.

She’s home. She’s fine. And still making us all laugh.

Small town living really is the best living. ❤️
