π¦ Wellβ¦ you guys made this one hard to take off the menu.
When we added our Cajun Seafood Boil, we weren't sure whether it would be a temporary special or something that stuck around.
You answered that for us.
It has become one of the most popular things we've served, so the Seafood Boil has officially earned its spot on the menu. π
The original boil is loaded with:
π¦ Snow crab
π¦ Fresh whole local Jonah crab
π¦ Jumbo shrimp
π Andouille sausage
π½ Corn
π₯ Red potatoes
π₯ Egg
π Lemon
π§ Cajun garlic butter
And you can build it up from there:
π¦ Extra snow crab or Jonah crab
π¦ Lobster meat or lobster tail
π¦ Extra jumbo shrimp
π¦ͺ Mussels, bay scallops or haddock
π Tuna chunks
π Andouille, linguica or beef hot dog
π½ Extra corn, potatoes or egg
π Mushrooms β’ π₯ Carrots β’ π₯¦ Broccoli β’ π± Asparagus
π§ Extra Cajun garlic butter
We've also added Boils for Two and Family-Size Boils for people who want to go BIG.
Now we want your help deciding what comes next.
If you've had one, what are we getting right? What would you change or add?
πΆοΈ Different heat levels?
π§ New butter/sauce flavors?
π οΈ A true Build Your Own Boil?
π¦ More crab varieties?
π¦ More premium seafood?
π And what about King Crab?
We're looking at Red King Crab vs. Golden King Crab, but there's a HUGE difference in costβwhich would mean a big difference in what you pay.
Do you actually care whether it's Red or Golden?
Would you pay substantially more for Red, or prefer Golden at a much more reasonable add-on price? If you've had both, is Red really worth the difference?
Don't limit yourself to our ideas. Build your perfect Cove Seafood Boil in the commentsβwhat goes in it and what flavor are we tossing it in?
Haven't tried one yet? You've got some catching up to do. ππ¦
