Reminder, The High Chaparall is closed this whole week, Monday, August 17th through Saturday, August 22nd. We will resume regular hours the following Monday, August 24th….just in time for the first day of school!

Be sure to go visit The Houston County Fair in Caledonia and check out all the kids’s projects! You’ll probably find one or two of The High Chap girl’s helping in the Sheep & Goat Barn and Beef Barn.

Awhile back The Allamakee County Beef Queen came to visit The High Chap and get her Allamakee County Beef Passport stamped. August is almost over but there’s still time to get your Beef Passport stamped if you haven’t yet….it goes until August 31st!

It’s Allamakee County Fair Week AND The Shooky Fink Tournament this weekend so we feel like celebrating! Today, Thursday, July 16th, we’ll be having TWO Corn Dogs and Fries for $6.75 ALL DAY and Tomorrow we’ll have Chili Cheese Dog, Fries and Coleslaw ALL Day for $6.75. And we have plenty of fun COLD Drinks too!
*We will be CLOSED Friday Night, July 17th, to go watch Tracy Byrd at The County Fair!*
