Many of our Nevada City residents have grown up with Java Johns as part of their morning routine, and others have incorporated the facility in their afternoon club activities, while tourists return time and time again to their favorite coffeehouse when visiting this Gold Rush Era town. Java Johns is a hub of activity for all patrons – it is Everyone’s Coffee House.

Introducing the Franken Chicken — one of our newest experimental item that’s creeping onto the menu. Grilled chicken, smoked Gouda, applewood bacon, roasted green chiles, caramelized onions, garlic aioli, and fresh spinach, all pressed to crispy perfection.

Join us TOMORROW, Friday, and be one of the first to try it! We’re serving paninis Fridays only (for now), so don’t miss your chance to help us test out this delicious new menu item.
