On this day, in honor of Women's History month, we would like to highlight our dear friend Blanca Chávez Pasos. The heart behind Cacao Muse — a Ceremonial Chocolatería born from a visión she received after communing with Ayahuasca for 10 nights in the jungle.
Native to México, Blanca has devoted over 20 years to walking in relationship with cacao as a sacred seed of consciousness. Long before cacao became a global trend, she was living in cacaotales, crafting chocolate directly from the fruit, and studying and interpreting ancient codexes that honor cacao as a bridge between worlds and diving deep into ancestral wisdom from Mesoamerica.
She is a guardian of the heart’s medicine — weaving together the ancestral and the modern, the mystical and the gourmet. Through Cacao Muse, Blanca transforms cacao into an experience: a ritual, a remembrance, a return to the feminine intelligence that listens, feels, and creates life. She is known for her ancestral Metate ceremonias, her vast knowledge of the Toltec, Mayan and Aztec wisdom, the ancestral Tonalpohualli calendar, and her service as a Sacred Chocolate maker.
This Women’s Day, we honor the hearth that keeps the fire alive — the woman behind the medicine.
