A good country breakfast can still slow the whole day down a little. Hot coffee, eggs done right, and a plate that looks like it means business have a way of doing that.

This one feels like the kind of kitchen where folks come in hungry and leave planning supper already. The name says plenty. You expect hearty portions, simple plates, and the sort of breakfast that doesn’t need dressing up.

Places like this are worth hanging onto. They remind me of long drives, early starts, and the meals that kept a family moving.
