This post popped up in my notifications this morning.
What a bittersweet reminder of how we thrived - every nook and cranny was filled with purpose, intention, unique charm & genuine local love that just can’t be replicated or forgotten.
I’ve been holding on to the right words on how to adequately address what has gone on for the past year of absence and what the future holds for Bev’s Porch. It’s a lot.

Good morning, Facebook!!

Lexie here - I haven’t had my morning coffee yet so bear with me in hopes that this message is transparent and kind. Lord knows he needs us to be more kind to each other right now.

Julie is right, some things do need addressed, and I will do so to the extent that I can right now without playing into any unnecessary nonsense or rumors. ☺️

What is going on with Bev’s Porch?

That beautiful building I’d purchased on Front Street is still there and is still being worked on. Theres been a shift in crew members but the vision is bigger and better than I could’ve mustered up on my own, which is why I did sell the building—to a family member who has wonderful plans for our area! We are working TOGETHER on making it perfect.
There will be coffee. There will be congregating. There will be community!❤️☕️🍽️

Has it taken longer than we wanted — 2,000%
Does God have a plan? Also 2,000%
He’s guiding our family through loads of family medical events and rocky roads right now that absolutely take presidence…..but if you know my mother-in-law, you know that she’s not a giver upper.
While I am not allowed to divulge any specific plans right now until she’s ready, please trust the process!

If you are looking for information about previously purchased gift cards, please plan on either holding out with those or private message me if you dont want to! I’m happy to help!

As for my family’s home, that’s a very new and very exciting bit of info that is personal and don’t feel it belongs on my business page. My close loved ones are in the loop!

Sometimes, when the days feel heavy and the minutes drag, it’s nice to look back on the good ‘ol days of Bev’s Porch and wonder how you all are doing. Bev’s was built on the goal of providing a home-away-from-home shop to sit and stay a while as you shut out the megativity or the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Shop. Grab a book. Bring a friend. Enjoy your drink and a treat.
UGH. WE MISS IT.
We’ve been closed entirely way too long, but we’re confident our *new* setup will be incredible, we’re just over here missing you all!
