One thing Slanging Tacos has taught me is that you can’t grow a business without growing as a person. And believe me, these past 4 years have humbled me, challenged me, and taught me lessons I’ll carry for the rest of my life.

If you’ve been following us since our humble beginnings, you know our story. You’ve seen the hustle, the sacrifices, the wins, and the struggles. What you haven’t always seen are the mistakes and lessons we’ve had to learn along the way.

I’ll be the first to admit WE ARE NOT PERFECT. We’ve fallen short, we’ve made mistakes, and for that, I sincerely apologize. But one thing I can promise is that we will NEVER stop trying to be better.

I do ask for a little grace and understanding. Small businesses are built with passion, sacrifice, and sometimes everything a family has. We don’t have the money, resources, or systems that big corporations have, yet sometimes we’re held to even harsher standards. And while big corporations get second, third, and fourth chances, one bad experience can destroy everything a small family has worked years to build.

I’m not asking anyone to excuse our mistakes. I’m asking you to allow us the opportunity to learn from them. There’s a difference between holding someone accountable and tearing them down.

To those who have shared honest feedback, even when it’s difficult to hear, THANK YOU. You’re helping us become better.

At the end of the day, behind Slanging Tacos is a husband, a father, a family, and a dream we’re fighting for every single day.

4 years in, still learning, still growing, still hungry, and still grateful. 🙏🏽❤️
