An Update from Five Hands Porch Stand ❤️

First, I want to thank everyone who has supported my little porch stand these past few months. Every purchase, kind word, and share has meant more than you know.

As many of you know, our family recently experienced a house fire. While we’re incredibly thankful everyone is safe, the next several weeks will be filled with insurance appointments, contractors, cleanup, and repairs. Right now, my focus needs to be on our home and everything that comes with getting it repaired.

Because of that, I’ve made the difficult decision to keep the porch stand closed for the remainder of the summer.

However starting July 20, I’ll be taking custom orders for pickup! So if you’ve been craving fresh bread, cookies, banana bread, or another favorite, just send me a message and I’ll be happy to bake for you.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support during this unexpected chapter. It truly means the world to my family. I can’t wait until the day I can open the porch stand again, but for now, custom orders will be the best way for me to keep doing what I love while we work through everything at home.

Due to a house fire, Five Hands Porch Stand will be closed until further notice.

I sincerely apologize to everyone who was planning to stop by tomorrow or had placed an order. Unfortunately, this isn’t the way I expected the weekend to go, but right now our focus is on taking care of everything that comes with an unexpected situation like this.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I’ll share an update as soon as we’re ready to reopen.

The wait is over… here’s what’s coming to Five Hands Porch Stand this Fourth of July weekend! 🇺🇸

I’ve been working behind the scenes this week, and I’m so excited to finally share what we’ll have available beginning Saturday at 9:00am!

Pair our Party Bread with a jar of marinara for a quick and delicious appetizer that’s perfect for cookouts, family gatherings, or celebrating with friends.

New this weekend!
We’ll also have a selection of small-batch artisan pasta from my mom’s pasta business, including:

• Spicy Thai Linguine
• Toasted Onion Rigatoni
• Mushroom Linguine

What an incredible day! We are officially closing early because we sold out of everything again.

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by the porch stand today. Your support truly means more than you know, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

With these hot temperatures, I hope everyone is staying cool, drinking plenty of water, and taking it easy this evening.

Good morning and happy Monday!

It’s going to be a hot one today! I’ll be keeping an eye on the temperature throughout the day, and if the heat starts affecting the quality of the baked goods, I may close a little earlier than usual. If that happens, I’ll be sure to post an update here.

Today’s sweet treats are caramel cinnamon rolls and caramel pecan cinnamon rolls, along with a few loaves of Rosemary Garlic and Jalapeño Cheddar artisan bread.

Whether you’re headed to work, running errands, or just looking for a little treat to brighten your day, I’d love to see you. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and I hope you have a wonderful Monday!

What a wonderful Sunday!

We sold out of everything today except for a few artisan loaves, and I am so incredibly thankful. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported my little porch stand today. It truly means so much.

Happy Sunday!

It’s going to be a warm one today, making it the perfect excuse to treat yourself!

New Mini Dot Cakes are here! These fun little viral treats are layered with Funfetti cake, creamy vanilla frosting, and topped with colorful sprinkle dots. They’re just $1.50 each or 4 for $5.

Also new this week are our Strawberry Shortcake Cups! Layers of buttery pound cake, fresh strawberries, vanilla buttercream, and graham cracker crumbles come together for a delicious summertime dessert.

This weekend we’re baking something a little extra special… Blueberry Lemon Artisan Bread!

With juicy blueberries, a hint of fresh lemon, and honey, it’s the perfect loaf to get us in the spirit for the Fourth of July.

And that’s not all…

I’ve been busy planning some fun things for the holiday weekend! Five Hands Porch Stand will be open on Saturday in addition to our usual Sunday and Monday hours, and I have some exciting treats and surprises planned.

My daughter has been begging me to try these viral dot cakes, and after hearing about them for weeks, I finally gave in. 😂

So this Sunday, we’re trying something completely new at Five Hands Porch Stand….Funfetti Dot Cakes!

These adorable little cakes will be layered with cake, frosting, and sprinkles in individual containers, making them the perfect sweet treat to grab and enjoy.
