Blue Owl update: We are currently moved into storage while the building is being repaired. We hope to move back in in a few months - fingers crossed. Thanks every one of you, for your love and support - it's been a very challenging time for us and the support of our family, friends and community means the world to us and is helping us get through this tough time. We look forward to serving you all again soon, with great literature, coffee & hot chocolates, and the best ice cream on the Front Range!

In the first of several celebrations for our 20th year, Blue Owl Books will be hostessing former Nederland resident and artist extraordinaire Danni McCarville! Danni will be showing and selling her handcrafted authentic western hats! These are gorgeous, well-made and super unique.
Friday March 8th 5-7 pm. Complimentary wine and crackers & cheese:) Come on by and say hi and check out these gorgeous hats!

Greetings fellow Nedheads! At Blue Owl Books we are gearing up for another Rocky Mountain ice cream season! Our ice cream is handmade by the infamous ice cream connoisseur Tom Kinney. Tom has been hand-making ice cream for over 25 years, using fresh, local cream and the best ingredients, especially love! You can check him out on this podcast about our ice cream!
Also, we are super excited to announce that Tonyman will be cooking his stellar Jamaican food again at Blue Owl! He is firing up this coming weekend, the 27th, 28th and 29th! See you soon:)

Limit to approx. 200-250 words
A hard copy of your essay (no electronic submissions) to be dropped off at Blue Owl Books on Friday or Saturday of Nederdays, March 24 or 25, 11-5 pm.
The winner will receive a gift certificate good for $25.00 for ice cream and will be published in the Mountain Ear!
