What can we say, but Thank You to all who made Ned’s and Whistler’s Cafe a staple of Nederland for 38 years. Customers and employees, alike.
It’s unfortunate that the new business owners were not able to negotiate a new lease with our current landlord, KG LLC. The building is in need of many structural repairs. We have kept up on our responsibilities, but the landlord has neglected his building since the day we signed the lease with him over seven years ago.
Derek (started in 1990), and Becky (started in 2001) are both heartbroken that the legacy has to cease because of an unreasonable landlord and his neglect. We put our heart and souls into creating a space for our local families to enjoy. It wasn’t just a restaurant, it was always about the people - through the good times and the bad.
We will miss seeing all your faces that we had the pleasure of being friends and family. All of our love, from the Ned’s Restaurant Family!!
