Unless you have worked in a small mom & pop, you might think this story about the Shrimp Basket might just be considered a heart-warming one-off. But you'd be wrong, because you mean more to your local mom & pop businesses than you realize.

As a regular, you become part of an extended family that exists within each and every business. And just like in a family, we notice when you unexpectedly don't "come home" when you should.

My apologies but we have cut our Sunday hours short and have closed early. For those who are not aware, there has been a recent death in our family which is centermost on our minds right now. The cafe will reopen on Friday, Decmber 13th to give us time to lay our loved one to rest. Thank you for your understanding.
