Before everyone starts swirling wine glasses and debating their favorite bite, make one stop a priority... Chef Rob Jackson at the Natchez Food & Wine Festival.

Some stories are meant to come full circle. Chef Rob first visited Natchez as a child and knew there was something special about this place. Years later, he made it home. With more than 40 years in the culinary world and training at Washington Culinary School, he's built a career rooted in tradition, creativity, and a love of great food.

Cooking is in his blood. His grandfather was a cook aboard the riverboats that traveled between Natchez and New Orleans, carrying the flavors and stories of the Mississippi River from port to port.

This Friday, July 24, Chef Rob is bringing that passion to the festival with:

✨ House-cured and smoked Maple Leaf Farms duck breast
🧀 Gruyère cheese
🌶️ Creole mustard
🍇 Fig preserves
🥖 Served on a crostini
🥕 Finished with a carrot ginger aioli
