Quick history lesson about our name! “Mott” comes from Mott Street, one of the most historic streets in Manhattan’s Chinatown and home to some of the earliest Chinese-American businesses in the U.S.

“Cha” means tea in Chinese, and of course… “Mott Cha” is also a fun little play on words because it sounds like “matcha” 🤭
