We’ve been flooded with so much love about The Soda Parlor. First off thank you! We had been open for 6years. We poured so much of ourselves into that place, I’ve meet thousands of you in that shop. And then bam! A tornado tears through your town. It doesn’t really even feel real.

Just flew into Nashville. I’m going to be running around. I’ll check back here tonight

Let me say this we had insurance. We’re meeting up with said insurance agent today.

I don’t know how long of a road we have ahead of us. I don’t know the obstacles we have a head of us. I don’t know when we will get these insurance funds. I don’t know the maximum extent of the damage. It’s day 1 for everyone.

Sadly ONTOP of all of that, our place was looted a bit. Which means nothing to me. All of that can be replaced.

My mind goes to oh crap we have a bunch of employees that don’t have a job right now.

I’ve seen many of you asking, begging to help. I’m going to set up this gofundme for $1.

I hate doing these things and I’ve seen so many of you start ones up for us.

I don’t have a number in my head and it’s totally up to you , please don’t feel the need to do this. But if you wanted to donate this is where it would go.

1. Give our employees some bridge money to find a new job.

2. Removal, storage of everything in the shop. Whatever that wasn’t looted.

3. We would throw some to a charity to help some people who were effected by this.

4. And whatever left over if there is any we would throw at the beginnings of a Soda Parlor 2.0. I’m pretty positive insurance will cover this.

There is a very lengthy road ahead of us and some many people in Nashville. We got this. I look forward to the day I lift a float with all again.

Tonight we were hit by the tornado that devastated the heart of East Nashville. Five points was our home. For now until we figure out what the next step is we will be closed.

GUYS!! These are candles! 😱 and yes the orange one smells like a orange cream-sickle and the other smells like maple waffles and root beer floats. It’s basically The Soda Parlor in a mason jar. 🤘Coming to the store March Friday the 13th.
