One thing I’ve been learning as a coffee shop owner is that impact isn’t always measured by a dollar amount.

This weekend we partnered with Isaiah 117 House and donated 20% of every Lemon Bar Latte sold. We ended up raising about $40, and while of course I wish it could’ve been more, I honestly think the biggest win was introducing so many people to an organization doing incredible work for children entering foster care.

I love getting to use Middle Grounds for things like this. My hope has always been that it’s more than just somewhere to grab a coffee. That it’s a place where our community can gather, connect, and support people who are making a difference.

I’m already excited for the next one. 🤍

Sometimes the best ideas come from this amazing coffee community. 🍋💛 I saw this lemon syrup from pertinaciouscoffee and knew I had to make my own version for a special day.

Tomorrow, we’re serving our Lemon Bar Latte, and 20% of every one sold will go to Isaiah 117 House—an incredible organization that provides a safe, welcoming place for children entering foster care while they wait to be placed with a foster family.

Isaiah 117 House will also be outside with a lemonade stand starting at 10 a.m., so come grab a drink, support an amazing cause, and say hi. We can’t wait to see you. 💛
