Home of Nashville’s oldest beer license, too many “Best Cheeseburger” awards to list, and an ambience that simply can’t be re-created, Brown’s is a Nashville institution that shouldn’t be missed. and a proud family-run business, Brown's Diner has only had three owners in its nearly 100 year history. Bret Tuck is the current owner having taken the reigns from Jim Love in January 2021. Bret promises to keep the Brown's soul alive while updating the Nashville institution to ensure it lasts another 100 years. Nashville has seen many changes around it over the years. As we celebrate our City’s growth and prosperity, we promise that one thing will never change – Brown's excellent food at affordable prices. Nashville Scene's Burger Week has arrived! 🍔 Now through July 12, enjoy our limited-edition JailHouse Smash for just $8. Two smash patties with bacon pressed right into the beef, melted American cheese, Duke's mayo, jalapeños, peanut butter sauce, grape jelly, fried plantains, chopped peanuts, and extra bacon bits, all served on a Charpier's Bakery bun.

Planning a cookout? Let us handle the hot dogs. Our Independence Day special includes 12 of Brown’s Famous Chili Cheese Slaw Dogs with our renowned hot dog chili, slaw, American cheese, chopped onions, pickles, buns, and all the fixings for $70. Available hot and ready to go or ready to grill, just be sure to pick up your order by 1PM on July 4.

Please note our updated holiday hours! Brown’s Diner will be closing early at 1PM on Saturday, July 4th and opening at 10AM on Sunday, July 5th.

Cool off with two limited-time cocktails for just $7. ☀️🍹 Nashville Scene’s Sips of Summer is in full swing, and we’re serving up Peach Fuzz, crafted with peach moonshine, peachcello, peach schnapps, limón, mint, and soda, plus the Nanna Wacker – our banana twist on a classic Bushwacker.
