From its modest beginnings in a mule-drawn trolley car, Brown’s has become a favorite watering hole for platinum selling recording artists and construction workers alike. Home of Nashville’s oldest b**r license, too many “Best Cheeseburger” awards to list, and an ambience that simply can’t be re-created, Brown’s is a Nashville institution that shouldn’t be missed. Locally owned since its inception and a proud family-run business, Brown's Diner has only had three owners in its nearly 100 year history. Bret Tuck is the current owner having taken the reigns from Jim Love in January 2021. Bret promises to keep the Brown's soul alive while updating the Nashville institution to ensure it lasts another 100 years. Nashville has seen many changes around it over the years. As we celebrate our City’s growth and prosperity, we promise that one thing will never change – Brown's excellent food at affordable prices. From our family to yours, we look forward to serving you and sharing one of Nashville’s best and oldest traditions with generations to come.
