Time for a quick coffee chat ~

We recently started serving drip coffee and espresso here at Sky Blue! ☕️

DOCR was founded in Detroit, MI by Sky Blue team member, Stephie, and her brother, Nathan in 2009. What started as a DIY music venue and community space serving coffee and desserts, evolved into four coffee shops across metro-Detroit and a thriving coffee roasting operation, specializing in single origin coffees. They curate a rotating selection that showcases diverse processing methods, varietals and origins. Their producer relationships — ranging from all-women-run farms to multi-generational estates — ensure exceptional quality from farm to cup.

DOCR has collaborated with a few other local Nashville businesses like Yeast Nashville, Subliminal Coffee, Dose, and Weak Coffee. DOCR products are for sale at Sky Blue and also available on their website.

You may have heard that Drew’s Brews is no more. It’s definitely the end of an era: We’ve served their beans since our opening day on 1 March 2010! Sending our well wishes and a huge thank you to Drew for our partnership over the years.

While it’s bittersweet to finish that chapter, a new one has already begun! We’ve been serving beans for our espresso drinks lately, and we’re happy to announce that will expand into drip coffee as well.

So come on by and raise a cup! ☕️☕️☕️
