IT'S SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!🇵🇷🇺🇸🏈Did you know they have football at the Bad Bunny concert?!

Ask us about our new drink, The Bunny Bowl! It's a caffeinated twist on a classic Puerto Rican drink, Coquito! Coconut cream spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon, topped with espresso and garnished with coconut flakes and a cinnamon stick!

In 1955 Jackson Brown opened up Club Baron at 2614 Jefferson Street, which remains the only standing nightclub from Jefferson Street’s era of Black-owned music establishments. The building (also a roller rink by day) hosted musical performances at night from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Etta James, Muddy Waters, and more. One notable event at Club Baron occurred when local guitarist Johnny Jones defeated Jimi Hendrix in a guitar duel at the club 🎸

Jackson Brown was a prominent businessman in North Nashville. He began his entrepreneurial career by opening Brown’s Pharmacy on Jefferson Street and soon grew his business into Brown’s Hotel, which contained Brown’s Pharmacy on one storefront corner, and Brown’s Dinner Club on another.

Jackson Brown provided both glamorous accommodations and vibrant community for Black community members and musicians. Watch out for a post tomorrow detailing his most significant venture on Jefferson Street 🎷
