It was SO good seeing yall yesterday. A HUGEEEE shoutout to Eat to Live fest for having an amazing event that supports local businesses with affordable vendor fees and they even helped us girl out with electricity 😩 That’s southern hospitality 🥺❤️‍🔥 shout out to the Mosque as well for being just welcoming and warm!

I felt like such a fraud making this soup. 👇🏾

I’ve been obsessed with this soup ever since I first tried it. While I usually stick to creating soul food, plant-based comfort food, this vegan take on Tom Kha G*i (vegan version) soup has had me completely hooked and I couldn’t resist making it for the community 😩.

Made with tofu, mushrooms, and vegetables in a rich broth featuring coconut milk, lemongrass, and galangal, this is my soulful interpretation of a dish I’m completely obsessed with.

Thanks to the support of Support + Feed, I was able to prepare a batch for the community and stock the Nashville Community Fridge with free meals for anyone who needs them.

You can find the fridge at Watershed Wellness Collective in Madison, Tennessee. The fridge is now accessible 24/7 and is located outside the gates at the back of the building, making it even easier for neighbors to access fresh food whenever they need it.

Food is meant to be shared. 💚🐰

Who knew the key to happiness was finally having Saturday mornings free? 😉Somebody said they saw my page and said I was retiring. I said no way. I’m just re-distributing my energy and for some reason that looks like doing TikTok‘s and community meals and anything for the betterment of all beings. Somebody else said vegan food is privileged food.. I said anytime you were in a room full of Black people you can expect at least 3 to 5 vegans. Cause the Revolution has definitely started with us. Go back and look into food.

It is officially free meal Tuesday. Come get a plate from Nashville community fridge located at Watershed Wellness Co.
